Maybe you have completed your newborn and milestone sessions and you are wondering what comes next? You may have never had professional photos of your baby taken, and want to go big!!!! Really big!!! Cake smash sessions are normally booked to celebrate the big ONE!! I highly recommend reaching out to me about 8 weeks before baby turns one, and I will discuss everything you need to know to prepare for your session with me!! If you have missed that deadline, don’t worry!! I may be able to accommodate you if I have supplies for your theme in stock. Your session even includes a custom smash cake from my favorite bakery, Tiers of Joy!! The day of your appointment, I will have the set up created and will be ready when you arrive. Typically, parents bring either one outfit for the entire cake smash, or one for portraits and another for smashing cake. I am fine with whichever you choose!! I will start with portraits of baby, where I capture adorable expressions in your favorite outfit. Next, we will have so much fun smashing and eating cake!! If you choose to do a splash bath, this will happen last, and really helps with clean up. Plus, most babies love this and we are able to get lots of smiles of them having a blast in the tub!! Also, new for 2025, you may choose to substitute a splash bath for a second neutral background!!
