East Peoria, IL Maternity and Newborn Photographer
This is part two of a previous blog post!!! Number one, welcome to my new website!! I will be gradually updating my portfolio with new content, and I am so excited for this journey. I would like to explain why you might want to consider my Bump to Baby Package instead of a newborn session!!! First and foremost, if you have already chosen me to photograph your maternity session, you are already considering whether you would like to schedule newborn photos. What are the benefits of using the same photographer? Familiarity!! This is especially important if you have other children that you are wanting to include at the newborn session. It is really helpful if they have the opportunity to meet me before the new baby arrives. So many big changes!!! This is also a very valid reason if it’s your first child, or you have never had a new baby professionally photographed before. The maternity session is a great time to discuss all of your concerns or hopes and dreams for the upcoming newborn session. Even if you plan to have your maternity session outdoors, you are more than welcome to request to meet at the studio to see where the studio is located, as well as to view all of the props that are available if you decide to come back with your newborn when he or she is born.
Another great reason to book the Bump to Baby is simply to save money. It is a better value, as this package includes a premium newborn session with family poses and additional images. If you are not sure you are feeling up to family poses when the baby arrives, that is absolutely okay, and you may substitute the images included with the family portion for more images of just your newborn instead. I don’t want you to feel pressured, and understand that recovery from having a baby takes time! If this happens, just let me know when notifying me of your baby’s arrival, and I will come up with an alternate plan for your gallery.
It also saves time and ensures your spot!!! With the Bump to Baby package, you do not have to worry about remembering to schedule the newborn session, as your due date will automatically be on my calendar. The only thing you will need to do is let me know that your beautiful new baby has made their entrance into the world!!
Another very important aspect to booking both sessions with me is consistency. When displaying your finished images in your home, or in an album or baby book, you may want your photos to match. Maybe you haven’t thought about this until now, but it’s actually very important!! Here at Sheena Kaszynski Photography, I appreciate vibrant colors that are true to life.
