What happens if my baby doesn't sleep during their photo session?
If you follow me, you will most likely see photos of lots of babies sleeping peacefully! You might wonder if it’s some sort of sorcery, or worry that your baby might not sleep for their pictures like those you see on our website. If you decide to book a session with me, I will send you everything needed to prepare for the session. That includes sleepy baby tips!! There are occasions where parents are absolutely right, and they have babies that are not quite as sleepy. Sometimes they are curious about being in a different environment or the studio light. Cluster feeding is another reason that babies might resist going to sleep. There is nothing abnormal about an awake baby, and I am here to capture your child’s unique personality! I find that parents love having images where they can see baby’s beautiful eyes. I would like to note that safety is our number one priority, and some poses may be dangerous if baby has not yet fallen asleep. During this time, I will typically wrap them so they are comfortable and happy. The best part is when I get to capture the most adorable little expressions!!!
