Today, I am taking you on a studio tour with me!! If you’re not familiar with Sheena Kaszynski Photography, you’ve come to the right place. Once you’ve booked your newborn session, you will receive information that helps me prepare for your appointment by knowing exactly what you have in mind. From styling and posing, your session will be personalized based on your requests and ideas. The studio is fully stocked, and I will provide all of the swaddle wraps, props, hats, headbands, and outfits. You are always welcome to bring a special keepsake item to incorporate if this is part of your vision. At the beginning of every session, I typically take baby to my work station and get him/her ready for posing. I keep baby warm and cozy, and this also helps them get used to me. Often, the car ride to the studio makes them very sleepy, and I can get started right away!!
The order that I work will depend on your baby and family!! Every session is different, and I do my very best to work as efficiently as possible. If your baby is awake when they arrive, that’s okay!! I might change things up, and begin the session with a wrapped pose instead. If you have older children that you prefer we photograph with baby first, that is always an option, too!
Next, I take a moment to find a headband to go with my next setup, which is the swing pose!! This is another highly requested pose, and it’s absolutely adorable! This one is not very difficult for baby, and is actually an optical illusion. Baby is never actually hanging, and gets to snooze peacefully, and safely, on their back!
After the session takes place, the magic begins!! Your images are transferred to my computer and the very best images are selected. I make sure your files are backed up to several places, and then I start editing your proof gallery!! I am every bit as excited to edit your photos as you are to see them!! I am so blessed to be able to do what I love!!
